Our initiatives towards sustainable environment
We, OM TEXTILES believe in expanding business growth, without disturbing our Mother Nature. Out of our few initiatives, generating power supply from the renewable source plays a key role.
Solar Power and Wind energy
1. Solar power combined with energy obtained through wind mill, we are left with the power of
12.5MW,
which is sufficient to operate our entire facility, makes us a zero- carbon emitting factory in
terms
of power consumption.
2. Through this renewable power source, we are reducing approximately 15.81 million Kgs of Carbon
emissions every year which is equivalent to planting 600,000 of trees.
1.Solar energy – Ground Solar
We have a complete set up of Ground solar, which generates the total power of 5 MW
2.Solar energy – Roof top
For our spinning division, we are having 1 MW roof-top solar, and we are also planning to install
the roof top panels
across all our divisions this year
3. Wind mill
We possess over 16 windmills with a combined capacity of 6.50 MW for our own usage
4. Battery operated vehicles
We are taking the maximum efforts to employ the battery operated vehicles within our campus to
reduce the pollution
